Ross’ journey in Holistic Health grew from his love of nature, athletics, and a desire to help people. Ross earned Eagle Scout at age 15 and was selected as a Brotherhood member of the Order of the Arrow of Boy Scouts. He earned his Black Belt at age 15 and Second Degree Black Belt at age 17, and was chosen as a member of the Hwa Rang Do team of the Wu Shu Kung Fu school in Houston, Texas. While serving in the US Navy onboard the USS Juneau on a WestPac tour, Ross received his first professional massage session, Traditional Thai bodywork, in Phuket, Thailand. This spurred him on to seek out and learn more about massage and bodywork. After receiving an Honorable Discharge from the Navy, a string of fortunate events led Ross to the International Professional School of Bodywork.

Ross has studied with some of the most awesome bodywork instructors available: Dr. Edward Maupin, a founder of IPSB, teacher of Structural Integration and Somatic Psychology, and a student of Dr. Ida Rolf; Dr. Richard Gold, founder of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, teacher of Traditional Thai and Seitai Shiatsu, was a student of Dr. Kiyoshi Kato, and he brought the first Tradtional Thai instructor from Chaing Mai to the US; James Stewart, developer of the Sensory Repatterning modality and a student of Dr. Milton Trager; Joel Sheposh, developer of the Table Thai method.

Ross has enjoyed the opportunities to practice alongside acupuncturists, energy healers, estheticians, and chiropractors. Ross’ bodywork is enjoyable and effective.
